Understanding the Difference Between Our Website and Mobile App — and How to Maximize Both for Your Business

 

WeaverBird is currently in its early development stage, and we’re actively working to improve the experience across both our website and mobile app. At this time, the two platforms operate independently, meaning user accounts, logins, and data are not shared between the website and the mobile app.

If You Have Access to the iOS App:

We highly recommend registering through the WeaverBird mobile app (currently available only on the Apple App Store). The app offers additional benefits such as:

  • Instant notifications for new job requests

  • Real-time messaging with customers

  • A more seamless mobile experience

However, since the app is currently limited to iOS users, some customers can only use the website. To bridge this gap, WeaverBird will also repost all website job requests to the app (with customer email contacts), and we’ll promote your business profile and promotions from the app to the website so that website visitors can discover and connect with you.

The mobile app gives you full access to all job requests with instant notifications, ensuring maximum exposure to customers across both the website and app platforms.

If You Don’t Have Access to the iOS App:

You can still fully register and use the WeaverBird website. After registering, you’ll be able to:

  • Create and manage your business profile

  • Post promotions, galleries, and articles

  • View job requests submitted by customers via the website

However, please note:

  • Your business will not be visible on the mobile app

  • You won’t be able to see job requests posted through the app

To ensure you don’t miss out, WeaverBird will manually repost job requests from the app to the website (with customer permission). We’ll also send your business profile to the match requests to help establish communication between you and potential customers. 

The website platform offers a more convenient way to create and manage your business profile, promotions, and content. It’s also accessible to a wider range of visitors, making it a valuable tool for reaching more potential customers. Even if you already have access to the mobile app, we highly recommend registering on the website as well to maximize your visibility and make the most of both platforms.
